Dr. Jejelola Ladele is a Neonatologist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics, Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. She is also the Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Michael Garron Hospital.
She received her medical degree from Olabisi Onabanjo University and her Pediatrics Residency training at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos. She completed her subspecialty training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Western Ontario and then proceeded to the University of Toronto for further sub-specialization training in Neonatal Hemodynamics. Dr. Ladele has also completed a Leadership and Management in Health course at the University of Washington and a Global Health Education Program at University of Toronto.
Her research interest revolves around Neonatal Hemodynamics and General Neonatology. Her Hemodynamics research focuses on PDA physiology in preterm infants and chronic pulmonary hypertension.
