Michael Garron Hospital’s Department of Research and Innovation facilitates patient-oriented research and quality improvement initiatives that address the changing needs of the communities we serve. The team is seeking to add an Improvement Consultant t o lead research infrastructure development projects within the department.
This role will report to the Manager, Research and Innovation. The part-time (0.8 FTE) contract position ends March 31, 2022.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s or PhD in progress
- Project management experience an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of interpreting/implementing Tri-Agency (i.e., CIHR) funding policies
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing quality/process improvement projects, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong team facilitation sk ills – able to provide multi-disciplinary team members with clarity on project goals and pathway to achieve success
- Advanced writing and communication skills – can synthesize and succinctly convey salient messages, conduct and prepare recommendation s, reports and policies
- Excellent time management skills – can effectively manage multiple projects and address competing demands on the basis of priority
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent capabilities with Mic rosoft Office suite
