Acts as receptionist and performs clerical duties including data entry as related to ANSOS and OMNI server; maintains statistical information for various patient care areas within the Health Services/Service Delivery Units.
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation
- Computer and keyboarding skills
- Successful completion of the Transcription of Physician Orders Course
will be required. (Must be successful within two consecutive attempts
from transf er/start date)
- Previous Unit Clerk experience would be an asset,
- Related experience an asset,
- Good communication skills (verbal and written),
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills,
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion in matters related to patien ts,
staff, and hospital affairs,
- Ability to work well individually and in a team environment,
- Good work and attendance record required.
