Overview

The Clerk II is responsible for entering all DI orders this includes Cardiac/ Respirology for scheduled and non-scheduled patients. Maintaining an orderly flow of reports and images, both hard copy and electronic, throughout the DI Department for MGH. A cts as receptionist and performs clerical duties, may be required to check in patients for DI orders.

Education

- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation.
- Training related to office administration/office coordinator.

Qualifications

- Must have 2 years of relevant recent experience working in a Diagnostic Imaging department
- CT booking experience required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Knowledge of PACS required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill s both verbal and written.
- Computer literacy required; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent keyboarding skills.
- Skill in use of Powerchart, Ansos, SAP/SRM.
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion in matters related to patients, staff, and hospital affairs.
- Able to work independently as well as work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good work and attendance record required.
