Dr. Groll graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School (0T2). He completed the Residency Training Program in Urology at the University of Toronto during which he enrolled in the Surgeon Scientist Program. He obtained a thesis-based Master of Science degree in Health Administration (eHealth Innovation). After residency, he completed the clinical fellowship in Endourology and Laparoscopy at Michael Garron Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Groll joined the surgical staff of Michael Garron Hospital in 2010. Dr. Groll is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Surgery at The University of Toronto. He is a consultant Urologist at the Albany Medical Clinic and the Medcan Clinic. Dr. Groll’s interests include surgical education, laparoscopic urologic surgery, and the treatment of renal stone disease.
