Dr. Woods was the first female obstetrician/gynaecologist at MGH, beginning in September 1986. In her 30+ years at MGH, she has been Chair of Medical Education, Chair of Pharmacy and Therapeutics, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Medical Staff Association and then Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Medical Co-Director of Maternal Health from 2003-2009. She was on staff at Hospital for Sick Children in paediatric and adolescent gynaecology until 2002.
Her interests include Colposcopy and Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology and Obstetrics. She practices general obstetrics and gynaecology.
