Overview

The Technical Associate is responsible for maintaining the cost-effective operations of the hospital’s end user infrastructure. Work closely with others to provide professional and timely technical expertise to clients in support of the hospital's infor mation systems. Contribute to the successful implementation of projects.

Education

- IT related degree or diploma
- At least 1 of the following certifications: CompTIA A+ , Network +, MS Specialist (Desktop OS), MS Tech Associate IT Infrastructure

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a technical support related role as it relates to the position requirements.
- Possess strong problem solving skills with proficiency in the deployment, maintenance, and support of:
a. Recent versions of clientd evice operating systems, in order of preference, (min 2):
i. Microsoft Windows OS
ii. Mac OS X
iii. iOS
iv. Android
v. Linux-based OS
b. Active Directory objects
c. Client device hardware (Change/Move/Add):
i. PC hardware and peripherals
ii. Mo bile Devices (smartphone / tablet)
iii. Digital/VOIP telephony systems
d. Wired and wireless networking
e. Enterprise applications and related supporting software (latest 2 major releases):
i. MS Office, Project, Visio
ii. Adobe Acrobat
iii. Thincl ient
iv. Threat protection systems (A/V, Malware, etc).
- Strong communication skills with exceptional customer service
a. Courteous and professional at all times
b. Maintain SLAs; follow escalation procedures
c. Ability to train end users; explaint echnical concepts to non-technical clients
