Overview

The Operational Excellence (OpX) team partners with patients, leaders and care providers across the hospital and its community to drive positive change in the areas of quality, patient safety, and financial sustainability. We are seeking an Improvement A nalyst to support the design and implementation of a new Paediatrics Outpatient Eating Disorder service.

This role is a temporary full-time position, with an expected term of 12 months.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree required (Industrial Engineering preferred)
- Master’s degree (Business or Healthcare Administration) and healthcare related certifications are assets
- Lean/Six-sigma and project management certifications are assets

Qualifications

- 1 to 5 years of experience designing and implementing quality/process improvement projects, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Experience in consulting considered an asset
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written – can succinct ly convey the salient messages imbedded in large information sets
- Strong skills in formatting/manipulating data extracted from various information systems, conducting analyses, and delivering recommendations
- Excellent time management skills – can effectively manage multiple projects and address competing demands on the basis of priority
- Excellent capabilities with Microsoft Office suite
