Sarah Leslie graduated with Bachelor of Arts Honours in Women Studies from York University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Midwifery with Honours from Ryerson University in 2003. Sarah did her clinical placements at Michael Garron Hospital with midwife Esther Willms and Dr Ornstein. She has been a staff member since 2003 providing care to low risk clients and their families. She is an Adjunct Professor at Ryerson University and precepts senior midwifery students. She has privileges at The Toronto Birth Centre and conducts births at home for low risk clients. She is a partner of The Midwives Clinic of East York Don Mills which is located in Thorncliffe Park Neighbourhood. She is currently a registered midwife with the College of Midwives of Ontario and follows their standards and guidelines. She maintains a current certificate in neonatal resuscitation, CPR, emergency skills and MoreOB. In addition, she keeps her skills and information current by attending conferences, peer reviews and workshops.
