COVID-19 Immunization Clinics for East Toronto

Last updated: January 20, 2022

Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) and East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP) are operating COVID-19 Immunization Clinics across East Toronto to ensure the community has access to the COVID-19 vaccine.

Due to vaccine supply and availability, Moderna will likely be administered during your vaccine appointment with MGH/ETHP if you are aged 30 or older. The Moderna vaccine is as safe and effective as the Pfizer vaccine. In addition, it is safe and effective to mix vaccine brands, especially for your third (booster) dose. Both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccine will provide you maximum protection against COVID-19, including the highly transmissible Omicron variant. We strongly encourage you to accept the first vaccine brand available to you, regardless of the vaccine brand(s) you received for previous dose(s).If you feel sick and/or have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit our COVID-19 vaccine clinics, even if you have booked an appointment in advance. You should self-isolate and get a COVID-19 test as soon as possible to confirm you do not have the virus. If you have COVID-19 and are vaccinated while infected, the vaccine may not be as effective.
