The Paediatric Inpatient Service at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) provides care for newborns, children and youth up to 18 years of age with a wide range of health conditions. We offer family-centred care and encourage parents and guardians to stay with their child during their hospital stay and take an active role in their care. The Inpatient Paediatric Unit includes up to ten beds for general paediatrics and two inpatient eating disorders treatment beds.
Depending on their needs, children may receive care from paediatricians, surgeons, paediatric nurses, dietitians, social workers, child life specialists, pharmacists and lactation consultants.
