Dr. Singal graduated from the University of Toronto School of Medicine in 1997. She then went on to complete the Ophthalmology Residency Program at the University of Toronto and received her certification with the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in 2002. She then went on to do a clinical and research fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the University of Toronto, and has been in clinical practice since 2003.
Dr. Singal has been a member of the Department of Ophthalmology at the Michael Garron Hospital since 2006 and is currently a lecturer with the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Toronto. Her clinical and academic interests include cataract surgery, medical diseases of the cornea and other surgical treatments including corneal transplantation surgery, collagen cross linking, Intacs and refractive surgery.
