Jacob is a general paediatrician who practices paediatric hospitalist medicine. He completed his medical school at McMaster University followed by paediatrics residency at Queen's University.
Jacob has a variety of interests, including rural medicine, for which he regularly travels to Yellowknife, Northwest Territories for locum work. His research interests include resource stewardship, choosing wisely, and healthcare systems efficiency, and is involved in a number of projects to reduce unnecessary healthcare resource use.
Jacob enjoys teaching and co-leads the staff-lead paediatric monthly simulations.
