COVID-19 UPDATES

COVID-19 Vaccine: COVID-19 vaccines are not available to the general public at this time. Eligible priority populations in East Toronto can click here for information on how to book a COVID-19 vaccination appointment. If you live outside of East Toronto, please go to www.vaccineto.ca to find a vaccine clinic nearest to you.

COVID-19 Vaccine: Adults age 60 and older

Adults who are 60 years of age and older in East Toronto may receive the COVID-19 vaccine in one of the following ways:

ETHP COVID-19 Immunization Clinics:

Adults who are 60 years of age and older in East Toronto are eligible to book an appointment at an East Toronto Health Partners (ETHP) COVID-19 Immunization Clinic.

We are currently accepting appointments for eligible individuals at the Thorncliffe Park Community Hub (East York Town Centre) location.

If you previously pre-registered with ETHP but do not have a confirmed appointment, we encourage you to book an appointment at the Thorncliffe Park Community Hub.

Adults who are 60 years of age and older may also be eligible to book an appointment at other COVID-19 immunization clinics in Toronto. Please visit www.vaccineto.ca to see a list of other immunization clinics in Toronto.

Pharmacies:

Adults 55 years of age and older may receive the COVID-19 vaccine at select pharmacies in Ontario. Administration of this vaccine is organized by the Ontario government.

Eligible individuals must:

  • Be be 55 years of age and older
  • Have a valid Ontario health (OHIP) card or other form of valid government-issued identification

Mobile Clinics:

ETHP is working with community physicians to offer COVID-19 vaccines to older adults in East Toronto, including those with complex needs. This may include dedicated pop-up vaccination clinics at community health centres and physician offices. Click here to learn more about ETHP’s mobile vaccination team.

In Hospital:

Adults 60 years of age and older who are hospitalized may also be offered a COVID-19 vaccine during their stay at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH).
